LWL-Museum fu?r Naturkunde (Natural History Museum)

Be amazed at unique fossils, immerse yourself in the age of dinosaurs, come face to face with a whale or fly through the endless expanse of space: all this is possible in the Westfälisches Landesmuseum, with its planetarium. The combination of natural history museum and large-scale planetarium under one roof is unique in Germany. The museum houses unique objects such as the world’s largest ammonite, fossils of dinosaurs that lived in the water, or life-like reconstructions of dinosaurs of the feathered variety.
